Pink And Blue by Ritu Vaishnav and Art by Vishnu M Nair (Age: 5+ years)
'Pink and Blue' is an attempt by a mother to initiate a dialogue about gender stereotypes, like wearing pink or blue, playing with dolls or aggressive games, cooking and crying. You may be a girl who wants to play in the dirt but society would rather have you seated wearing a pretty dress and having imaginary tea. It says that it’s fine for both girls and boys to choose what they like to do. The book finally ends by saying boys and girls need to look after each other. Published by Puffin Books and available on Amazon.in
