Books: The Fox And the Ghost King by Michael Morpurgo and illustrated by Michael Foreman (Age: 7+ years)
In a den under a garden shed in Leicester, UK lives a family of foxes who appear to be normal in every sense. They are, however, anything but ordinary. They are football crazy and support Leicester City, better known as ‘The Foxes’. One day, as father fox and his male cub were coming home from yet another disappointing match, they decided to hunt for some food on their way. As they were busy digging up the earth, they heard a strange masculine voice call out to them. They ignored it. However, when they heard it again, they realised it was for real. The voice said that he needed to be buried somewhere else and not here and that he would grant them a wish if they did what he said. Did the foxes get what they wished for? Read ‘The Fox and the Ghost King’ to find out. Published by Harper Collins and available on Amazon.in
