Meet a New Plant: Euphorbia Obesa 

Known as the baseball plant, this branchless succulent is native to South Africa. 

It grows without leaves in the shape of a green baseball with an average height of 20cms from the ground. One of the rarest plants in the world, it is toxic and can cause skin problems.

Pet Animals Welfare Society (PAWS)
Started in 1998, PAWS was established to create awareness about the care, management and nutrition of pets and stray animals. One can volunteer to help the organisation, maintain the kennel, walk the dogs, take care of the puppies and sponsor or even adopt a dog.

Know Your Instrument: Sitar

The sitar is a stringed instrument mainly used in Indian classical music and western fusion music. It is a long-necked instrument that is believed to have been developed during the Mughal Empire and derived from the veena. It is crafted out of natural materials including wood and the dried outer shell of a pumpkin.
